While acknowledging the effort put into this establishment, the pricing seems a bit steep. The ambiance, although adorned with enthusiasm, might benefit from a more refined touch. The cuisine is Ok, but the use of plastic utensils diminishes the overall experience. While it might appeal to locals, its value may not extend to those residing up north, making a return visit unlikely.

My food was great! My service was great! The atmosphere was very cute and a vibe. The music wasn’t overpowering, you can have a conversation if you’d like. The deviled eggs were soooo good! I did see someone leave a review and they had fried shrimp on them. The cook said that was special occasions or something, I don’t know. My scramble bowl was delicious. I added ketchup and hot sauce. If they had a sauce for it, 🤌🏾. I went on a Saturday around 2pm. It wasn’t packed at the time and I was seated and serviced quickly. I’ll return!

This was my first visit at love at first bite, and I wouldn’t mind coming back. For starters they have on site, free parking! The location is on the second floor of the building, so be mindful of that if stairs, concern you. On arrival Our hostess greeted us promptly and sat us right away. My server recommended an off menu French toast sandwich, in which I obliged. I chose chicken sausage as my Protein choice. My man ordered the jerk chicken fries. I enjoyed my French toast and so did my boyfriend lol. My only request is that it came with some type of caramel drizzle. I added some caramel on the side and it definitely pulled the sandwich together. Unfortunately, my boyfriend’s jerk fries came out with a kitchen mishap… so it had to had to be remade. When the remade food came out, the fries had less meat. Our waitress did remedy the problem and brought him some additional toppings, to make up for the earlier mishap. All in all I would give this place a 7.9 out of 10.

I’m glad I didn’t let the reviews deter me! We had a little wait because we had a larger party. The food was delicious. I ordered the deviled eggs, mimosa flight and the shrimp & grits. My friends ordered other things and were very delighted with their order. The vibe was cute with Afrobeats in the back. I would come back!

Where do I start.....I'm a patient person and I do I understand how things happen, but this will be my first and last time. I ordered the love the first bit buttermilk pancakes with grits, bacon and eggs. The Pancakes were not cooked all the way...so gooey! The only good thing I had was the grits. The lux mule I ordered for my drink was horrible. I waited over an hour for my food. No one checked in to say, sorry for the wait! No empathy statement or anything acknowledging the long wait. Day off of work I wanted something good and satisfying. I wish I had known it was up to two flights of stairs. I walked in there was no one at the front podium. I sat down no one greeted me for at least 5 minutes. The waitress look like she didn't want to be there & was the bartender & she was the only one there. I ordered the jerk pasta which was horrible when I say horrible there was no pasta sauce on that pasta and the chicken was dried shredded pieces of like it was from yesterday. Breakfast was basic eggs, burnt potatoes, and broke up two pieces of bacon. I ate it cuz I was hungry but I left it and went to Hungry AF which is where I should have went in first.

Love at First Bite owes me NOTHING! They had the BEST RANCH I have ever had, lol...crazy right, lol. The location, the decor, and the food was on point. Me and my group had no complaints rs other than we wish we could've bought a bottle ranch. The shrimp and grits, the banana pudding 🥞, side salad, red velvet waffle, the waffle chicken sandwich were all good!

Overall, our experience at Love At First Bite was pretty good. We waited a minute to be sat. I will say that this is not a large space at all, so tables and seating were very limited. This was intended to be a birthday brunch. Thankfully, we didn't have the large party we initially intended. Our waiter was pretty good. They were out of a few of our drink choices, but we were able to work around it with no big issue. Our food was good. The only thing I will mention is that the cinnamon roll chicken biscuit was not worth the price and very small. The special of the day was a French toast BEC sandwhich, which was really good. I was a fan of the potatoes or grits. However, that could be debatable per the person. I would go back and def recommend for a small party to partake.
